Photo Post (April 13, 2012)

The 13th of April 2012 was really a date to remember. Words aren't enough to describe what happened in that entire day. Pretty ineffable. From morning until the evening of that day was really amazing. I have no words to say anymore. So, yeah, photos.

James picked up Job and I in GCF, then we went to SM Southmall for a short while. James drove. :-)

The birthday girl!
Louise's mom had a cake customized for her that says, "Happy 16th Birthday Your Royal Awesome-ness. We Love You! Dad, Mom, Lj, & Mika"

One of the boys ;) We actually forced each of the boys to take a picture with Louise. That rarely happens okay.
All girls with the birthday girl!
Yeyy group shot!

F4 :)
We saw some girls sticking post-it notes on the escalator wall. Very encouraging. :')

To Its Memoirs

Last Saturday [April 7, 2012], my family and I went to Laiya, San Juan, Batangas to hit the beach. While I was preparing my things for the trip the next day, I thought that anklets are perfectly worn in beaches. I have this anklet that my classmate gave me when she went to Boracay earlier this year. Oh actually, she gave one to each of the girls in our class. So anyway, I started to dig up my closet since I remembered putting it there. Thank goodness I found it.

I kind of consider it as a "friendship anklet" since all of us girls have one. Every time I see it or wear it, it reminds me so much of my girls —all the joyful, sad, and most especially the crazy moments with them come back to my memory. I can still even remember the reason why I chose the orange one (pink is my favorite color, as you can obviously notice). Okay, that's a whole different story.

I know it's a little early for me to be dramatic because of how I miss them already, but since I have a feeling that in College I would really tend to forget about them. Its purpose is, when I go back to my previous posts, I would be reminded of how blessed I am to have met them and to be with their company for 4 years. And not just the girls of my class, the boys and my teachers as well. :-)

...
Oh! A happy happy birthday to my teacher! :D I highly doubt that you'll get to read this, but I'll greet you here as well anyway. :-)

Summer 2012

Just grabbed this .gif from Tumblr
It's quite late for me to blog about welcoming April, right? Haha, well, consider this as "Welcome, Summer."

For me, April is really when Summer officially starts ( I start the count down to college on April Fools'). It's Summer and I have all the time to do things. I just hope procrastination will not get in the way.

THIS SUMMER:

→ Clean le bedroom. Like really clean it. And some parts of le house, pobably.
Get with the program (exercise on a daily basis).
→ Don't forget to hang out with le high school classmates once in a while.
→ Start reading The Hunger Games. Wait, I still have to buy the books first before reading.
→ Go to the beach!
→ Get a Summer job!
→ Still update my diary daily.
→ Visit my brother in PMA in Baguio.
→ Sister-sister bonding time ;)
→ Tweak blogs
To not be forever alone even though my parents are both working, my sister will soon start with her OJT, and while my brother is in a military boarding school.

...

I'm looking forward to a total productivity this Summer! Bring it on!

Ending means beginning

March 27, 2012

The morning before my actual graduation was a total chaos. I didn't have shoes to wear, so my dad and I had to rush to the nearest mall to buy one; and I still had 4 letters to write for my dear teachers. I didn't have time to write those letters the day before because (1) I was in school from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.; (2) I went to Makati with my brother right after school to attend Bible Study Fellowship International with him; and, (3) We arrived home around 12mn. So, sue me. I actually didn't get enough sleep I should have had the night before.

We had to be in school by 12:45 p.m. being the latest but my mom finished doing my hair and make-up around 1:15 p.m. Good thing they don't grade our punctuality anymore. Haha.

I was actually writing the last letter for one of my teachers during the ceremony. Yeah, I was that rushed. I just thanked by brain for not making me run out of words to write.

I really didn't expect this day to be dramatic because I swore to myself that a single drop of tear will not threaten to fall; but I failed myself, I was wrong, and I blame my English teacher for that.

It was the "Aww" moment of hugging; laughter; and saying our I love yous, I'm going to miss yous, and our last goodbyes. Surely I'm going to miss these people who have been with me through ups and downs for the past 4 years.

To my classmates (although I highly doubt that any of you will get to read this), thank you for everything. I know it sounds cliche, but I'm just really grateful to the Lord for giving me a bunch of great people like you. Thank you for acknowledging my skills and abilities often times for you guys know that I am more on the right side of the brain.
You guys are different from any of the classes I've encountered. I know we have our own flaws and all that stuff, but each of us learned to accept each other anyway. Each of your unique personalities balance the environment of the entire class, and that goes for mine as well. I wouldn't say "don't ever change," because we all know that we still need to tweak some parts of ourselves; but don't ever forget who you are and for whom you live for.

The beautiful ladies of high school batch 2012.

The high school batch 2012 with the guest speaker, the principal, and our adviser (L-R).
I know there will be times when I would wish to go back to my high school days and just savor each moments once again, but it's time to grow up and move on to the next phase.

An official high school graduate!
